Microtech Knives, a high-end manufacturer of premium knives, sought to upgrade their packaging from a simple corrugated hinged-lid box to something with a more premium look and feel that matched the high quality of their product. Their vision was to create packaging similar to “The Apple Box”.

A large chocolate company had been facing a significant challenge with their direct-to-consumer chocolate bunnies一their ecommerce products were frequently arriving cracked. Their initial packaging solution involved wrapping the bunnies in bubble wrap, which proved insufficient in protecting the delicate products during transit. Recognizing the need for a more effective and sustainable solution, they sought a packaging method that could provide protection for their product while aligning with their commitment to environmental sustainability.

In collaboration with Cinco Design, we developed a distinctive and engaging packaging solution for VSSL, a high quality outdoor gear brand. The packaging was designed to hold a compact critical supplies kit, with a focus on both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The solution consists of three components: an outer slip case, a rigid tray, and a cleverly engineered paperboard insert.
