Trayless DVD Package

A DVD package without a tray is a great way to eliminate dependence on plastic and to conserve space, especially on large multi-disc sets. For packages with only one or two discs there is a risk of appearing to have less perceived value, a package like this would have to be for the right title or be enhanced with some special treatments to increase the perceived value.

A trayless package has the advantage of being any shape or size desired with a wide variety of treatments available to be applied to it. A trayless package could be anything from a simple “pocket” to an intricately designed package with motion and pop-ups, we have a variety of designs available or our design team can make a brand new design just for you.

Positives:

• Could save space
• Could weigh less
• Allows full graphic coverage
• Easily customizable compared to plastic
• Without a plastic tray it could save cost

Negatives:

• Could have poor perceived value
• Could require hand loading
• Not as structurally sound as plastic
